Blue Metaphor was founded by writer, director, actress and producer Sheherazade Bodin with a clear mission: to champion bold creative voices and help filmmakers, writers and artists bring projects tackling social and cultural issues to life.
We believe in the power of storytelling to challenge perspectives, spark conversations and create meaningful change. Our ambition is simple: to help make the world a better place, one film at a time — while creating an inclusive space where every creative voice has the opportunity to be heard.
At Blue Metaphor, we gravitate towards the noisy voices — the ones that refuse to whisper, conform or play it safe. We believe cinema should challenge conventions, provoke thought and constantly redefine what a film can be, what it can look like and, most importantly, what it can say.
We champion diversity, inclusivity and creative freedom because we believe no story should be silenced and no perspective should be overlooked.
We thrive when voices that have been unheard, misunderstood or overlooked finally have the space to tell their stories — stories that challenge, connect and leave a lasting impact.
Leaving an indelible mark on the landscape of tomorrow.

SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION
We believe great filmmaking and responsible production should go hand in hand.
Thanks to our Albert Certification Production training, we are committed to making our productions as sustainable as possible. We continuously review every stage of our filmmaking process, looking for practical and creative ways to reduce our environmental impact.
From the way we plan and shoot to the choices we make behind the scenes, we are always exploring new ideas and more sustainable approaches to filmmaking.
